Visit, play and live in Springfield!
Springfield has so much to offer all year. We tout historical districts with Frank Lloyd Wright's Westcott House and a prized Heritage Center showcasing centuries of history.
Our local restaurants bring a unique flavor to the area. Several options include Mike and Rosy's Deli, Young's Jersey Dairy's homemade ice cream, donuts from Schuler's Bakery, Seasons Bistro and Grille, and Mela Urban Bistro. We also have a local brewery Mother Stewart's Brewing Company.
In the warmer months, National Trails Parks and Recreation District is the hub for outdoor activities. Multiple bike trails run through Springfield and our parks. Snyder Park includes a golf course, tennis courts, and fishing. Veterans Park Amphitheatre hosts the annual Summer Arts Festival. Splash Zone is NTPRD's newest addition, providing a water park for the area. We may not be in the mountains, but we have whitewater rapids! The new ECO Sports Corridor provides whitewater runs, canoeing, kayaking, hiking and mountain biking trails.
The Arts are an important part of the Springfield culture. The Clark State Performing Arts Center's Kuss Auditorium is home to conferences, theatre and musical performances, and receptions. Springfield Museum of Art has many showcases and permanent works of art displaying the talents of Springfield artists, Ohioans and international artists.
